More than 20 years ago, Colleen and I were introduced to Jesuit High School and Father Bill Hayes, S.J., by Evelyn and Bob Dieringer. Bob and Evelyn invited us to the school's annual auction. That auction led to many auctions and other Jesuit functions.
Jesuit High School has become an important part of our family and who we are. We are blessed that our six children have benefitted from the Jesuit experience. While serving on the building committee and board of trustees, I can see and feel firsthand the excellent leadership, education and stewardship in action. In addition to the well-rounded college preparation at Jesuit, Colleen and I particularly value the focus on the school's mission to form "men and women for others" through such things as the food drive, community service and opportunities to travel to and help other countries. We also enjoy seeing our children grow spiritually into young adults by participating in Jesuit's weekly Mass.
